Laxmi Civil Engineering has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the approximately ₹945.75 crore Sakalai Lift Irrigation Scheme in Maharashtra’s Ahilyanagar district.
The project involves construction and development of infrastructure to improve water availability through a gravity-based closed-pipeline network. The scheme is aimed at strengthening irrigation, water management and rural water supply across the region.
Once awarded and completed, the project is expected to enhance water access for agricultural communities in the drought-prone areas of Ahilyanagar district.
