NEEPCO Invites Bids for Civil & Hydro-Mechanical Works at Tato-II HEP

North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) has invited bids for Package-I of the Tato-II Hydro Electric Project (HEP) in Arunachal Pradesh, focusing on the civil and hydro-mechanical works of the project's diversion tunnels.

This package includes both the construction and hydro-mechanical installations required to complete the diversion tunnels, which are critical for managing river flow during dam construction and subsequent operation. The contract is valued at Rs 192.51 crore, with a completion timeline of 18 months from the start date.

With a planned installed capacity of 700 MW, the Tato-II HEP represents a major step toward strengthening power infrastructure in the Northeast region. The deadline for bid submission is 10 June 2025.
