Digging Deeper: BCCL’s Newest Mining & Logistics Opportunity

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has invited bids for providing handling, transportation, and mining services in Jharkhand.

The scope of the tender includes overburden (OB) removal, coal extraction, and the transportation of coal, along with handling services and the deployment of heavy earth-moving machinery (HEMM) for in-situ OB removal. These services are critical for ensuring the efficient and continuous operation of BCCL’s coal mines.

The initiative forms part of BCCL’s efforts to strengthen its mining and transportation infrastructure in the region. The deadline for bid submission is January 9, 2026.
