EIL Opens Bidding for MRPL’s Strategic Bio-ATF Project

Engineers India Limited (EIL) has invited bids for the execution of the bio aviation turbine fuel (Bio-ATF) project at Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL).

The contract covers mechanical works associated with the production of Bio-ATF, a sustainable aviation fuel aimed at reducing carbon emissions in the aviation sector. The scope includes installation, commissioning, and maintenance of key mechanical systems required for the Bio-ATF production process. Through this project, MRPL seeks to diversify into green energy initiatives and align its operations with global sustainability objectives.

The Bio-ATF project supports India’s broader efforts to lower carbon emissions and promote environmentally friendly alternatives for aviation fuel. The deadline for submission of bids is 05 February 2026.
