Kankanee Colliery: BCCL Invites HEMM & Transport Bids

Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) has invited bids for the deployment of heavy earth moving machinery (HEMM) and transportation services at Kankanee Colliery in the Sijua Area of Jharkhand.

The contract covers a seven-year period and includes overburden removal, coal extraction, and coal transportation, along with the hiring of HEMM for mining operations. The scope also involves handling both in-situ and dumped overburden, as well as extraction and dispatch of coal from the NRSC Patch-70/87 of Kankanee Colliery using the opencast method. Firefighting services are also part of the work package.

The deadline for submitting bids is 20 May 2026.
