MAHAGENCO Invites Bids for Gare Palma Mine Engineer

Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) has invited bids for the appointment of an independent engineer for its Gare Palma Sector-II coal mine, located in the Mand Raigarh coalfield, Tahsil-Tamnar, Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh.

The independent engineer will be responsible for third-party monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of the mine’s operations. Key responsibilities include reviewing mining plans, evaluating operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety regulations.

This appointment is part of MAHAGENCO’s effort to enhance transparency and accountability in coal mining activities. The selected consultant will support adherence to performance standards and regulatory frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.

Bidders must demonstrate proven experience in mining consultancy, project oversight, and regulatory compliance.

The deadline for bid submission is September 3, 2025.
