ONGC Launches Major WBDF Tender for Western Offshore

The Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has issued a tender seeking qualified service providers for the provision of Water-Based Drilling Fluid (WBDF) engineering services, including the supply of associated chemicals, for its Western Offshore assets.

The contract will span three years (2026–2029) and is intended to support ONGC’s offshore drilling operations with comprehensive fluid management solutions aimed at ensuring wellbore stability, operational efficiency, and environmental compliance.

Scope of Work:

End-to-end WBDF engineering support, Supply and logistics of drilling fluid chemicals, On-site technical services during drilling campaigns, Real-time monitoring and performance optimization

The tender aligns with ONGC’s broader strategy to enhance offshore drilling efficiency while upholding sustainability and safety standards.
