ESIC Launches ₹668-Crore Healthcare Expansion Across 6 States

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is rolling out a major healthcare infrastructure expansion, investing approximately ₹668 crore to launch seven new medical facilities across six states. The initiative will significantly boost healthcare delivery for around 53 lakh beneficiaries nationwide.

Union Minister for Labour and Employment, Mansukh Mandaviya, will officially inaugurate the projects today from the ESIC Hospital in Sanathnagar, Telangana. The expansion includes a new Outpatient Department (OPD) block at Sanathnagar, an upgraded 200-bed hospital in Beltola (Assam), a 100-bed hospital in Sriperumbudur (Tamil Nadu), and a new hospital in Rajamahendravaram (Andhra Pradesh). Additionally, the network will add new ESI dispensaries and branch offices across Surendranagar (Gujarat), Kota (Rajasthan), and Bhawani Mandi (Rajasthan), marking a major step forward in strengthening ESIC's nationwide medical services.
