The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has issued a tender for a ₹125 crore Bio-Compressed Natural Gas (Bio-CNG/CBG) plant under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The project entails full Design-Build-Finance-Operate (DBFO) responsibilities for the winning bidder.
Designed to process up to 500 TPD of the organic fraction of municipal solid waste (MSW) alongside other biodegradable waste, the facility will enhance scientific waste treatment and accelerate local adoption of green energy. Interested concessionaires must submit their bids by 20 November 2026.
