Amara Raja & Nuvation Energy Partner for India's Energy Storage Boom

Amara Raja Advanced Cell Technologies (ARACT) has signed an MoU with US-based Nuvation Energy to bring high-voltage battery management systems (BMS) manufacturing to India. The partnership focuses on localising Nuvation's 1,500-volt BMS technology for grid-scale, commercial, industrial, and renewable energy storage.

This collaboration advances Amara Raja’s larger lithium-ion roadmap, anchoring its Rs 9,500 crore gigafactory in Telangana and a planned 10 GWh storage manufacturing facility. According to ARACT's Chief Product Officer, Vikash Venkataramana, scaling this globally proven technology for local conditions will be pivotal in supporting India's clean energy transition.
