AmpereHour Energy, a full-stack energy storage solutions provider, has secured $5 million in Series A funding, led by Avaana Capital, with participation from UC Impower and existing angel investors.
This investment will fuel the company's expansion, manufacturing innovations, product diversification, and R&D efforts. Founded in 2017 by IIT Bombay alumni Ayush Misra, Rahul Shelke, Harshal Thakur, and Neehar Jathar, AmpereHour Energy specializes in modular, scalable, and software-driven battery energy storage systems (BESS). With over 1,000 MWh of global ESS project experience across 50+ sites, it has established a strong foothold in the energy sector.
At the core of its technology is ELINA, a proprietary Energy Management Software that optimizes battery performance for utility-scale, commercial, and industrial applications. The company also offers turnkey EPC services, ensuring seamless integration and long-term reliability.
AmpereHour Energy’s clientele includes Cummins, Siemens, Coca-Cola, Amazon, and Yellow Door (UAE).
