Bajel Projects has secured a major engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract from Tata Power Company for the development of a 220 kV Kalwa-Kalyan-Pal transmission line in Mumbai.
The order covers the EPC of monopoles, including foundation works for the transmission line, and forms part of Tata Power’s initiative to strengthen the city’s power transmission infrastructure. The project is scheduled for completion within 10 months from the date of the purchase order, with the contract valued as a “significant” order, ranging between ₹50–₹100 crore.
Successful execution of this project is expected to boost power transmission capacity in the region, supporting Mumbai’s increasing energy demand.
