DVC Invites Bids for 132kV Solar Pooling Station at Konar

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has invited bids for the development of a 132kV (GIS)/33kV (AIS) solar pooling station, along with the construction of a 132kV double-circuit LILO from the BTPS–Konar–Barhi line, to facilitate power evacuation from a 228 MW floating solar power project (FSPV) and a 100 MW/400 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at Konar, Jharkhand.

Valued at ₹113.17 crore, the project is part of DVC’s broader push to modernize grid infrastructure and enable seamless integration of renewable and hybrid energy sources into the power system. The planned pooling station will serve as a key node in managing both solar generation and battery storage, supporting efficient and reliable energy distribution.

The initiative highlights DVC’s continued commitment to clean energy transition and adoption of advanced energy technologies.

The deadline for bid submission is 18 September 2025.
