The Karnataka government has approved 17 investment proposals totaling Rs 29,679.20 crore, expected to generate approximately 66,360 jobs across the state.
The high-level clearance committee meeting was chaired by Chief Minister D K Shivakumar. The clearances comprise nine new investment proposals and eight additional/expansion investment proposals.
The approved ventures cover multiple sectors—including renewable energy, automotive, aerospace, consumer products, and manufacturing—reinforcing Karnataka's industrial standing.
Major new proposals receiving clearance include substantial investments by Hero Future Energies (Rs 9,760 crore), Nirani Sugars (Rs 4,062 crore), TruAlt Bioenergy (Rs 2,988 crore), Mahindra Aerostructures (Rs 2,300 crore), and Vibrancy Renewable Energies (Rs 2,194.94 crore).
