SECI Invites Bids for India's Green Hydrogen Hubs

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a call for bids to select executing agencies for the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for green hydrogen hubs across India.

These initiatives fall under Component-B1 of the National Green Hydrogen Mission, led by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). SECI is seeking technical partners to support states and union territories in planning and designing viable hydrogen infrastructure projects aligned with India’s broader green energy and decarbonisation goals.

The National Green Hydrogen Mission aims to establish large-scale hydrogen hubs as critical pillars of India’s clean energy transition. Key elements of the mission include the SIGHT Programme (Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition), which provides incentives for electrolyser manufacturing and green hydrogen production, along with pilot projects, R&D initiatives, a regulatory framework, and skill development programs.

The deadline for bid submissions is 16 October 2025.
