Waaree Transpower Powers Up BESS Push With ₹160 Crore Order

Waaree Transpower, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has secured a Rs 160 crore order from a leading global energy storage technology provider for the supply of 8.3 MVA medium-voltage (MV) Skids for battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. The IEC-compliant, plug-and-play skids are integrated into 20-foot containers for streamlined transportation, installation and deployment. Shipments began in July 2026, as growing BESS adoption supports renewable energy integration, grid flexibility and reliable power supply.
