L&T Bags ₹1,234 Cr Noida Metro Extension Project

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has awarded a ₹1,234 crore civil construction contract to Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for the Aqua Line extension project. Spanning 1,096 days, the contract covers the design and construction of elevated viaducts and 10 stations across two key corridors: the Botanical Garden to Noida Sector-142 link (11.56 km, 8 stations) and the Depot Station to Boraki Multi-Modal Transport Hub link (2 stations). Funded and planned to enhance regional transit, the project integrates major transit hubs, including the Delhi Metro interchange at Botanical Garden and the upcoming transport hub at Boraki.
