The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has revised its land request to 8,818 sq. m. from the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) for the construction of the main Namo Bharat railway station at Dharuhera, up from an earlier request of 2,226 sq. m.
The increase follows a redesign of the station to improve multimodal integration and to provide a 9-meter-wide access road to a nearby fire station. Consequently, the total land requirement for the station has been updated to 20,985 sq. m., up from the previously estimated 16,286 sq. m.
The Dharuhera station is a key component of the 107-km Delhi–Shahjahanpur–Neemrana–Behror (SNB) Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor, which forms the first phase of the Delhi–SNB line under the Namo Bharat project. The corridor connects major urban hubs such as Gurugram, Manesar, Panchgaon, and Rewari.
The Haryana government has already approved the Detailed Project Report (DPR), and a senior HSVP official confirmed that the process of finalizing land transfer modalities at various project sites is currently underway.
