Pink Line Ready: South Bengaluru Metro Nears Completion

Bengaluru’s upcoming Pink Line has cleared a major hurdle toward commercial operation following official Railway Board approval for the new BEML train sets deployed on its 7.5-km elevated stretch.

This clearance paves the way for final safety documentation submission to the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) in early October. Pending clearance, passenger operations connecting Kalena Agrahara with the Yellow Line interchange are anticipated to launch by mid-October, significantly streamlining urban mobility across southern Bengaluru.
