Brigade Group has acquired a premium land parcel in Osman Nagar, Hyderabad, through an auction conducted by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC). The company secured Plot 6, spread across 5.72 acres, at a rate of ₹44 crore per acre (excluding registration costs), and plans to develop a residential project on the site.
This acquisition represents a strategic move to strengthen Brigade Group’s footprint in Hyderabad and expand its real estate portfolio. Osman Nagar is emerging as a promising residential micro-market, given its proximity to major IT hubs such as HITEC City and Gachibowli, strong connectivity via the Outer Ring Road, and its relatively low-density, livable surroundings. The area is expected to see steady long-term appreciation, supported by ongoing infrastructure development and increasing housing demand.
Brigade Group, which has a presence across cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysuru, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and GIFT City, operates in residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and education segments—further reinforcing its diversified real estate portfolio in India.
Commenting on the acquisition, Amar Mysore, Executive Director of Brigade Enterprises, said: “Hyderabad continues to be a key focus market for us, having established itself as one of the most dynamic real estate destinations in the country. This land parcel in Osman Nagar aligns well with our criteria for scale and suitability for premium development. The acquisition marks an important step in our expansion plans as we aim to deliver high-quality, future-ready developments that cater to the evolving needs of the city.”
