Goregaon Rising: The ₹1 Trillion Transformation of Motilal Nagar

The Adani Group is expected to invest around ₹1 lakh crore in the redevelopment of Motilal Nagar, marking the first in a series of large-scale cluster development projects aimed at transforming Mumbai’s urban landscape.

The initiative is part of a broader plan by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority, which is preparing 12 cluster redevelopment projects covering nearly 900 acres across the city. These projects are designed to upgrade civic infrastructure while unlocking commercial development potential.

Spread over 143 acres in Goregaon, the Motilal Nagar project will be the first to be implemented under this scheme, with Adani Group appointed as the construction and development agency by MHADA.

Once underway, the redevelopment is expected to serve as a model for future cluster projects, potentially reshaping Mumbai’s skyline and improving living standards for thousands of residents.
