Himachal Pradesh Housing Minister Rajesh Dharmani has ordered HIMUDA to accelerate its infrastructure and housing projects while shifting focus toward affordable housing. Speaking at the authority's 59th Board meeting, Minister Dharmani called for greater operational transparency, including the auction of vacant commercial and residential properties and the simplification of citizen procedures. To support these initiatives and fund future land procurement, the Board officially approved a ₹251 crore annual budget, allocating ₹52 crore for acquiring new land.
