L&T to Build the Gateway to Hyderabad’s 'Future City'

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a major contract for Phase 2 of the Hyderabad greenfield radial road project. The project scope includes the construction of a 3.6 km-long viaduct, along with minor bridges, underpasses, and culverts. L&T will also develop service roads, retention structures, stormwater drainage systems, footpaths, a dedicated cycle track, and carry out landscaping works.

This contract is part of the broader 22.3 km, six-lane (3+3) access-controlled radial road project being developed in Ranga Reddy district, Telangana. The radial road will connect Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road (ORR) with the upcoming Regional Ring Road, significantly improving regional connectivity. It is expected to enhance access to key growth hubs such as IT corridors, Electronic City, Young India Skills University, and Bharat Future City.
