Bright Future: Waaree Lands 450 MWp Solar Mega-Project

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has secured a Letter of Award (LoA) for the execution of a 300 MW / 450 MWp ground-mounted solar power project, further strengthening its presence in India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy sector.

The scope of the contract includes Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services, along with comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) support for a period of two years following the project’s commissioning.

The project will be undertaken through the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Sunsational Power Private Limited, which will oversee the implementation and delivery of the solar facility.

According to Waaree Renewable Technologies, the project is scheduled for completion during the financial year 2026–27, in accordance with the terms and timelines outlined in the award. Once operational, the solar plant is expected to contribute significantly to clean energy generation and support India’s ongoing transition towards a more sustainable and low-carbon energy future.
