Yashhtej Goes Solar: 5 MW Project Now Live

Yashhtej Industries (India) Limited has commenced operations of its 5 MW solar power project, with revenue generation starting from 7 March 2026, marking an important milestone in the company’s growth strategy and renewable energy initiatives.

The project has been developed under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, as part of Component C of the PM-KUSUM Scheme, which focuses on feeder-level solarisation to support sustainable power generation for agricultural needs.

Earlier, Yashhtej Industries received a Letter of Award (LOA) to act as a Solar Power Developer (SDP) for solar photovoltaic power stations. Under the arrangement, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) will procure the electricity generated from the project through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

Following the LOA, the company undertook the development of the 5 MW solar power plant, which is now operational and has begun generating revenue. This development reinforces Yashhtej Industries’ commitment to sustainable energy solutions and strengthens its presence in India’s renewable energy sector, while creating long-term value for stakeholders.
