BC Jindal's Green Win: 150 MW RTC Project Secured

BC Jindal Group has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 150 MW round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy project.

The project—part of SECI’s 1,200 MW RTC tender issued in November 2024—was awarded through a reverse auction at a tariff of ₹5.07 per kWh. It will integrate solar, wind, and battery storage systems along with interstate transmission services (ISTS) to deliver continuous renewable power.

Since 2024–25, BC Jindal Group has added 750 MW to its renewable portfolio, including a 300 MW project with SJVN and a 300 MW allocation under NHPC’s ISTS-connected solar programme, representing investments exceeding ₹80 billion.
