Inox Solar Powers Up: $700M LONGi Deal Fuels 5 GW Growth

Inox Solar, a subsidiary of the INOXGFL Group, has entered into a ₹7,000-crore agreement with China’s LONGi Green Energy Technology Co. to supply 5 GW of solar modules over the next three years.

As part of the collaboration, LONGi will procure modules from Inox Solar for the Indian market while providing technical support, quality assurance, and production expertise to ensure compliance with global standards. The partnership aligns with Inox Solar’s expansion strategy, following the commissioning of its 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing plant at Bavla, near Ahmedabad, which is slated to be scaled up to 3 GW.

In addition, Inox Solar is developing a 4.8 GW integrated solar cell and module facility in Dhenkanal, Odisha. The company, a subsidiary of Inox Clean Energy, is also preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) later this year, reinforcing its position in India’s rapidly growing renewable manufacturing sector amid increasing local sourcing incentives.
