KNY Projects and Electrotech Join Forces for 200 MW Solar Venture

KNY Projects and Electrotech have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop and commission up to 200 MW of solar power projects across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

As part of the partnership, Electrotech will supply advanced solar modules, inverters, and other key components, while KNY Projects will serve as the developer and independent power producer (IPP), managing end-to-end project development, EPC execution, and long-term operations.

The solar plants are slated for commissioning over the next 18 to 24 months and are expected to generate over 360 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy annually—supporting India’s broader renewable energy goals.

Adarsh Ladda, Director at Electrotech, emphasized that the initiative aligns with India’s national target of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. Shaurya Yadav, Executive Director of KNY Projects, stated, “KNY Projects is honored to lead this initiative as developer and IPP, ensuring on-time delivery and operational excellence while catalyzing growth in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.”

The collaboration highlights growing private-sector participation in India's green energy transition and marks a significant step toward accelerating solar capacity in key states.
