Suzlon Energy has secured a 378 MW wind energy project from NTPC Green Energy Limited, to be developed in the Gadag district of Karnataka.
This new project brings the total capacity awarded by NTPC Green Energy to Suzlon to 1,544 MW, strengthening Suzlon’s position as the company’s largest wind energy partner.
As part of the contract, Suzlon will supply 120 of its S144 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each with a capacity of 3.15 MW, mounted on Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLTs). The scope of the project includes the complete lifecycle—from foundation laying and turbine erection to commissioning, as well as comprehensive operations and maintenance services.
