The Future is Solar: Inox Acquires 250 MWp from SunSource

Inox Neo Energies, a subsidiary of Inox Clean Energy, has acquired 250 MWp of solar projects from SunSource Energy, with plans to add another 50 MWp, bringing its total portfolio to 300 MWp.

The projects span 13 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra, and operate under multiple special purpose vehicles (SPVs), supplying power to leading commercial and industrial clients. They are backed by long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) averaging 24 years and serve sectors such as manufacturing, FMCG, power equipment, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. Notable clients include Britannia Industries, Jubilant Foodworks, Hitachi Energy, and Max Healthcare.

This acquisition marks a key milestone in Inox Clean’s journey toward 3 GW of renewable capacity by FY26. Bharat Saxena, CEO of Inox Clean, said, "This acquisition will be a key growth driver for our IPP business."
