Textile manufacturer Le Merite Exports has entered the technical textile infrastructure segment by acquiring a 35% stake (3,500 equity shares) in a newly incorporated associate company, Le Merite Torna Technical Textile Park. Incorporated on July 8, 2026, with a paid-up capital of Rs 1 lakh, the entity will design, construct, and manage an integrated industrial park complete with logistics, R&D labs, testing centers, and utility infrastructure. Currently a producer of cotton yarn and greige fabrics, Le Merite Exports aims to use this venture to diversify into high-value advanced textile applications.
