NTPC Invites Tenders for 800 MW Talcher Expansion Geotech

NTPC has issued a tender for conducting a detailed geotechnical investigation for the proposed Stage-IV (1x800 MW) expansion of the Talcher Thermal Power Station, located in Odisha.

The scope of work includes the mobilization of all necessary equipment, deployment of technical personnel, and provision of both skilled and unskilled labour. The contractor will be responsible for executing comprehensive field and laboratory investigations, followed by analysis, interpretation of the collected data, and preparation of a detailed geotechnical report.

All field and laboratory activities must be supervised by a qualified geotechnical engineer with a minimum of five years' experience in similar investigations.

The contract duration is six months. The deadline for submission of bids is 20 June 2025.
