Solar Boost for EV Charging: Ampvolts & Mecpower Unite

Ampvolts, a leading electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure provider in India, has entered into a strategic partnership with Mecpower Solutions, a prominent solar power company under the Onix Group.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed on 08 May 2025 in Vadodara, aims to accelerate the deployment of sustainable EV charging infrastructure across India by integrating solar energy solutions.

As part of the collaboration, Ampvolts will lead the identification and development of key locations for high-capacity EV charging stations, offering operational support and project execution. Mecpower Solutions will supply advanced solar power systems—such as photovoltaic panels, inverters, and supporting hardware—and provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with DISCOM regulations.

This partnership marks a significant step toward building a scalable, eco-friendly EV ecosystem in India, supporting the country’s net-zero ambitions and driving greater adoption of renewable energy and electric mobility.
