Gujarat Gas Expands Horizon with Propane and LPG

Gujarat Gas Ltd (GGL) has received board approval to venture into the sourcing and sale of Propane and LPG for industrial customers, marking a strategic diversification beyond its core natural gas business.

This move aligns with the company’s vision to evolve into a comprehensive energy solutions provider, offering a wider range of clean and efficient fuel options to industrial users. By entering the Propane/LPG segment, GGL aims to expand its industrial client base and enhance energy accessibility across sectors.

In parallel, the company is accelerating the expansion of its CNG network through the franchisee-owned, dealer-operated (FDODO) model. So far, around 69 dealer agreements have been signed, a step expected to significantly strengthen market presence and last-mile connectivity.

As GGL adapts to an evolving energy landscape, its growth strategy—anchored in product diversification, operational efficiency, and customer expansion—positions it for continued momentum. Rising CNG volumes and a growing clean energy customer base underscore robust demand and the company's ability to respond with scalable solutions.
