Flutter Entertainment, a leader in online sports betting and iGaming, has inaugurated its new Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad, India, with a $3.5 million investment. This 80,000 sq. ft. facility is set to employ over 700 professionals, focusing on areas such as data engineering, game integrity services, HR operations, procurement, safety and security, and customer operations.
Phil Bishop, Chief Operating Officer of Flutter Entertainment, hailed the expansion as a significant milestone in the company’s global growth strategy. "Our expansion in India underscores our commitment to investing in top talent and driving business growth across our diverse portfolio," Bishop stated.
Ashish Sinha, Managing Director of Flutter Entertainment India, emphasized that the centre aligns with the company’s strategy to innovate in the iGaming and sports betting sectors. “This expansion is key to advancing our product and technology capabilities,” Sinha added.
Flutter Entertainment, which reported a revenue of $11.79 billion for 2023, continues to show robust growth, with $3.61 billion in revenue for the quarter ending June 30, 2024. The new Hyderabad centre is expected to play a crucial role in sustaining this momentum.
