On 22 September 2025, the Goa Cabinet approved seven major development projects worth ₹2,500 crore, to be implemented under a public-private partnership (PPP) model to ensure faster and more efficient execution.
The approved projects include:
Redevelopment of Junta House and Circuit House in Panaji, Construction of the new Prashasan Stambh (Administrative Tower), Reconstruction of government quarters at St. Inez, Renovation of the government garage, Construction of a new Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) bus stand in Vasco, South Goa
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant noted that executing these projects through the state’s own resources would have required the full ₹2,500 crore investment, underscoring the financial efficiency of the PPP model.
The projects will be undertaken by the National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC), with work expected to begin within 10 to 15 days. The initiative aims to boost Goa’s infrastructure development while effectively leveraging private sector expertise and investment.
