Protection Wall & Road: Secure the ₹550.61 Cr Bhon Project with VIDC

The Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation (VIDC) has floated a tender for the construction of a protection wall, approach road, and other allied works to support the conservation and preservation of the ancient Bhon culture in Buldhana district.

Part of the larger Jigaon Project, the initiative focuses on the submerged area in Bhon, located in Sangrampur Taluka. With an estimated project cost of ₹550.61 crore, the scope includes both physical protection measures and the development of conservation-related infrastructure, aimed at improving site accessibility and safeguarding cultural heritage.

The deadline for bid submissions is 20 October 2025.
