MoRTH Invites Bids for a Rs 367 Crore Road Project

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has invited bids for the upgradation and construction of a 73.830 km stretch of NH-505 (Sumdo–Kaza–Gramphoo) in Himachal Pradesh.

The project involves upgrading the existing CL-5 road to National Highway intermediate lane standards with hard shoulders, covering chainage km 00.000 to km 73.830 (existing chainage: km 00.000 to km 75.991). This strategically important project aims to improve connectivity in high-altitude areas, supporting regional development and enhancing border accessibility.

The estimated project cost is Rs 367.83 crore. The scope includes road widening, strengthening, and associated civil works as per NH specifications.

The deadline for bid submission is 23 September 2025.
