Global Health Bags Land for Mega Mumbai Hospital

Global Health has successfully acquired a prime land parcel for Rs 125.11 crore on a lease basis from the Mumbai Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA). This strategic acquisition under MHADA’s tenders will enable the construction of a state-of-the-art 500-plus bed hospital. The total estimated capital expenditure for this ambitious project stands at Rs 1,200 crore, contingent on obtaining necessary customary and statutory approvals.

The land, measuring 8,859.24 square meters, is located at Mauje-Oshiwara, Jogeshwari, CTS No. 31, 32 (part), 33 (part), 37 (part), Mumbai. This acquisition was officially offered by MHADA through a letter dated 22 July 2024, highlighting the authority's support for the project.

With this acquisition, Global Health aims to address the growing healthcare needs of Mumbai's population by providing advanced medical facilities and services. The new hospital is expected to significantly enhance healthcare infrastructure in the region, offering cutting-edge treatment options and improving patient outcomes.

The detailed business plan for constructing the hospital is currently under review and awaits the approval of the company’s Board. Once approved, the project will mark a significant milestone in Global Health’s expansion plans, reinforcing its commitment to delivering quality healthcare.
