Godrej Properties is set to make a substantial impact on the real estate market with plans to launch residential projects worth ₹21,000 crore across major cities by March. This bold move is designed to leverage strong consumer demand and achieve a 20% increase in sales bookings for the fiscal year. Pirojsha Godrej, Executive Chairperson, expressed high optimism about meeting the target sales bookings of ₹27,000 crore, following last fiscal year’s impressive 84% increase to ₹22,527 crore.
The company’s first-quarter performance already shows promising results, with projects worth approximately ₹9,000 crore launched. The pipeline for the remaining quarters appears robust, indicating strong future growth. Godrej Properties, focusing on major regions like Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad, has also seen unprecedented success in the June quarter with sales bookings reaching 8.9 million square feet.
Notably, sales bookings surged nearly 300% to around ₹8,600 crore, setting a new record. Pirojsha Godrej highlighted the impressive growth from the previous year and a robust demand forecast. The company’s consolidated net profit soared more than four-fold to ₹520.05 crore, with total income rising significantly to ₹1,699.48 crore.
With such record-breaking performance and ambitious plans, Godrej Properties is poised for a landmark year in real estate.
