Hiranandani’s Greenbase Industrial and Logistics Park (GILP) is set to invest ₹4,500 crore over the next five years to develop 15 million square feet of built-to-suit (BTS) warehousing space. This expansion will focus on key locations, including Chennai, Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Pune, Bengaluru, Hosur, Kolkata, and Nashik, as announced by CEO N Shridhar.
Since its inception in 2018, Greenbase has already built 5.5 million square feet of industrial BTS with an investment of ₹2,000 crore. The upcoming projects will see 70% dedicated to industrial BTS and 30% to warehousing.
GILP’s clients include major players in renewable energy, automotive, and digital electronics, with notable partnerships with companies like Vestas. In Chennai, Greenbase is expanding by acquiring 391 acres in Oragadam and North Chennai, with a planned investment of ₹1,400 crore for land and construction.
Chennai will contribute 35-40% of GILP's growth, fueled by favorable policies and a skilled workforce, making it a strategic hub for the company’s ambitious expansion.
