NKC Projects has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder for the design, construction, testing, and commissioning of trunk infrastructure works for the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) in Gaya, Bihar.
The project is part of the Amritsar–Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC) initiative, which aims to boost industrial development in the region. The scope of work will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis and also includes operation and maintenance. The contract is valued at ₹606.03 crore and is scheduled for completion within 36 months. In addition, the project will incorporate provisions for long-term sustainability, with efficient operation and maintenance for up to four years under the defect liability period (DLP).
The development involves creating key trunk infrastructure to support industrial growth and is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening the region’s manufacturing ecosystem by providing essential facilities for industries.
