Bhoorathnom Construction has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for a significant water supply project in Rajasthan, awarded under the Government of India’s Jal Jeevan Mission.
The contract entails retrofitting work to provide Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) across 829 habitations — comprising 411 main habitations and 418 additional habitations — within the sub-divisions of Peeplu, Todaraisingh, and Malpura in Tonk District. The total contract value is ₹324.80 crore, with a stipulated completion period of 20 months.
Beyond the initial implementation, the scope of the project includes a one-year defect liability period followed by ten years of comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services. The project also encompasses long-term technical and service support, making it a holistic model for sustainable rural water infrastructure development.
