Ceigall India has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by the Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (HPSIDC) for a key infrastructure contract related to the development of the Bulk Drug Park in Una district.
The contract involves earthwork (formation cutting) and construction of internal roads within the park premises. This Bulk Drug Park is a crucial part of the Central government’s initiative to boost domestic manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and reduce reliance on imports, particularly from China.
Ceigall India’s competitive bid of ₹225 crore positions it as the frontrunner for the project, pending final approval and contract signing. The development is expected to improve internal connectivity, streamline logistics, and support timely commissioning of pharmaceutical manufacturing units within the park.
Once operational, the Bulk Drug Park is projected to attract substantial investment from the pharmaceutical industry, create employment opportunities, and enhance the resilience of India’s pharmaceutical supply chain.
