Brahmaputra Infrastructure, in a joint venture with GHV Infra Projects, has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) for riverbank protection works in Assam.
The project, under Package No. W-AF-03-RP-JH, Lot 1, covers the Jorhat subproject spanning Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Golaghat districts, with a contract value of ₹62.03 crore. It is part of the ADB-funded Climate Resilient Brahmaputra Integrated Flood and Riverbank Erosion Risk Management Project. The scope includes underwater protection works under Section 1 and above-water riverbank protection works under Section 2.
Additionally, the company has secured another contract under Lot 2 of the same package, valued at ₹68.91 crore. These works are expected to significantly enhance the region’s resilience to riverbank erosion and flooding, addressing longstanding challenges faced by local communities.
