Bajel Projects Secures ₹400+ Crore in Key Power Infrastructure Orders

Bajel Projects Limited, a key player in power transmission and distribution and part of the Bajaj Group, has secured major orders worth over ₹400 crores for critical infrastructure projects across India. The contracts, awarded by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and Inergy Infra Private Limited, further strengthen Bajel’s position as a reliable partner in the nation’s power sector.

The PGCIL project, awarded through its SPV "Kurnool-IV Power Transmission Limited," involves the construction of a 765kV Double Circuit transmission line from Kurnool IV to Kurnool III PS in Andhra Pradesh. This initiative supports the integration of 4.5GW renewable energy capacity under the Kurnool-IV REZ Phase-I, with completion targeted within 23 months.

In addition, Bajel has bagged two projects from Inergy Infra Private Limited for power evacuation from a 550MW solar-wind hybrid plant in Beed, Maharashtra. These include a 400kV transmission system and a new 400kV AIS substation, both slated for completion within 12 months.

Rajesh Ganesh, Managing Director & CEO of Bajel Projects, commented, “These wins mark a strong start to the financial year and reaffirm our commitment to delivering high-impact, timely, and quality-driven transmission solutions across India.”

These projects are set to significantly enhance India’s power infrastructure, supporting renewable energy integration and boosting grid reliability nationwide.
