Bridge & Roof Co. (India) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a major construction contract awarded by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL) at the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (KKNPP) in Tamil Nadu.
Valued at ₹386.82 crore, the contract involves the construction of Balance of Plant (BoP) buildings and associated structures for Units 5 and 6 of KKNPP. The scope encompasses extensive civil, structural, and auxiliary works that are critical for supporting the safe and efficient operation of the nuclear power units.
The timely completion of these BoP facilities is essential to ensure operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration with core nuclear systems.
This project is part of India’s continued investment in expanding its nuclear energy infrastructure, reinforcing national energy security and driving infrastructure growth in Tamil Nadu.
