KPI Green Scores 50MW Hybrid Power Deal with GUVNL

KPI Green Energy Limited has secured a significant milestone in the renewable energy sector by signing a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a 50MW Solar-Wind Hybrid Power Project. This project, comprising 50 MW of solar and 16.80 MW of wind energy, was awarded through a competitive bidding process initiated under RFS No. GUVNL / 500 MW / Hybrid RE (Phase I), which was issued by GUVNL on November 1, 2023. The successful bid was finalized via a reverse e-Auction held on January 22, 2024.

A spokesperson from KPI Green Energy Ltd expressed pride in contributing to India's renewable energy landscape, highlighting their commitment to delivering environmentally friendly and sustainable energy solutions. The project not only supports national goals of increasing clean energy production and reducing carbon emissions but also aligns with KPI Green Energy's broader objective of achieving a total capacity of 1000 MWp by 2025.
