Techno Electric & Engineering Company (TEECL) has successfully secured multiple work orders with a combined value of Rs 1,750 crore. Notably, TEECL has been awarded a transmission contract worth Rs 709 crore, encompassing various projects. Among these projects, the company has acquired a 765 kV air-insulated substation (AIS) package for Neemrana-II from Sterlite, valued at Rs 199 crore. Additionally, TEECL has secured a 765 kV AIS substation package for the establishment of a 765,400 kV, 2x1500 MVA facility in Sikar from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for Rs 223 crore.
Furthermore, the transmission contract includes a substation package for 765/400 kV Dausa and an extension of the 765 kV Beawar project, both from PGCIL, amounting to Rs 288 crore.
In a significant development, TEECL has been entrusted with an advance metering infrastructure (AMI) project, receiving a substantial order worth Rs 1,041 crore from REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL). This project involves the installation of 7.27 lakh smart meters in Kashmir and follows a comprehensive approach of design, build, finance, own, operate, and transfer (DBFOOT).
