The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has initiated a tender process for the construction of guide bunds along the diversion of the Indo-Nepal Border Road, as part of the Araria-Galgalia New Broad Gauge (BG) line project in Bihar.
The scope of work includes the construction of guide bunds at specific locations: BR no. 222 (5x30.5m, OWG) at km 83.535 and BR no. 247 (9x45.7m, OWG) at km 93.585, as well as the diversion of the Indo-Nepal Border Road over a stretch of approximately 980 meters along the railway embankment up to Br. no. 250.
This contract, valued at Rs 64.21 crore, is slated for completion within 12 months from the appointed date, highlighting the importance of timely project delivery.
Interested parties are invited to submit their bids by the closing date of 27 June 2024, marking a significant milestone in the progression of this crucial infrastructure undertaking
